Matthew (Antoine Lahaie) is a young Canadian trying to make a fresh start in Berlin. Unfortunately, he starting to feel nothing but isolation living in a strange, new city. When he meets the beautiful and charismatic Matthias (up-and-coming sex symbol Nicolas Maxim Endlicher), he finds himself immediately entranced. Soon Matthew’s interest in Matthias escalates, becoming a full-blown obsession. He begins to transform himself to embody the object of his desire, cutting his hair and getting new clothes. When Matthias gets into a motorcycle accident, the opportunity is too perfect. Matthew can now become Matthias. A visually inventive mind-fuck, M/M is sort of like Single White Female, but with hot dudes and tons of graphic gay sex.

Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan star as a bickering couple with an extravagant life in this new mainstream gay comedy Ideal Home. Erasmus (Coogan) is a demanding, popular celebrity, and Paul (Rudd) is his more hesitant partner and sidekick. But when Bill (Jack Gore), the grandson Erasmus never knew he had, shows up at their high class dinner party with nowhere else to go, the couple reluctantly decide to take him in. Antics, as you might imagine, ensue.

 

Co-starring Drew Droege, Alison Pill and Jake McDorman, this family comedy from versatile writer/director Andrew Fleming (Threesome, The Craft, Dick) is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray this week. Check out the trailer below.

Drama Camp, the fourth film in the beloved Eating Out series, is packed with laughs, smarts and plenty of full-frontal nudity. Zack and Casey (Chris Salvatore and Daniel Skelton) find that their relationship is in a slump, but things are about to change this summer at “Dick Dickey’s Drama Camp”! When Zack meets Benji (Aaron Milo) there is an instant connection. However, not wanting to interfere with Zack’s current relationship, Benji pretends to be straight. When Benji and Zack get cast as lovers in an updated, sexed-up version of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’, their self-restraint is put to the test. And when the sparks start to fly, Casey’s trusted friend Penny (Lilach Mendelovich) takes matters into her own hands by setting a poison oak trap for Benji so that Casey can step in as Benji’s understudy. But when Beau (Ronnie Kroell) starts crushing on Casey, Casey wonders if he and Zack are really meant to be together after all. Introducing a diverse ensemble of characters, Eating Out: Drama Camp is an over-the-top, deliberately raunchy sex comedy with the heart and soul of a sweet summer romance.

Coffee House Chronicles: The Movie is a comedy that explores the many ways LGBT people connect in the world of the Internet, social media, and of course coffee houses. The movie, based on the successful web series from writer-director Stewart Wade, features nine vignettes and covers two days and one night of love, hookups, heartbreaks, and hopes in gay Los Angeles.

 

In Secret Asian Man, a meet-cute takes an unexpected turn when Darin (Mykee Steen) gets to the house of Matthew (Cesar Cipriano) and discovers that the hottie in the wrap-around shades is Asian – and Darin doesn’t “do” Asians. In An Exception, Jeff (Darryl Stephens) is haunted – literally – by his perfect ex (Chris Salvatore). Can his quirky and less-than-perfect BFF, Anthony (Drew Droege), get him to leave behind the idealized past in exchange for a messy, imperfect future together?

Halloween Highlights: 50 Queer Horror Flicks We Think Are Worth a Look – Part 5

THE FINAL ENTRY! We reached the end of the series! Being authorities on all things gay-cinema, we at TLAgay.com wanted to put in a good word for some queer movies that don’t make the usual ranked horror lists. We came up with a selection of 50 different gay titles that are either direct horror movies or horror adjacent (suspense, mysteries, thrillers). Below, you’ll find part the final ten inclusions – in alphabetical order.

 

We tried to limit these to films that are currently available on our site – either on DVD or Blu-ray, or available via our On-Demand service. If a movie is missing from this list, chances are good it’s just out of print or otherwise currently unavailable/hard to access. This isn’t, as you’ll see, a definitive list of the greatest gay horror – that’s not what we were going for. This is just a sampling of some offerings that usually fly under the radar. Some are good, some are great, some are delightfully campy and ridiculous, some might be downright terrible, but they’re all available to help get your into the Halloween spirit!
