Kept Boy
Farleigh Knock (Thure Riefenstein) is a famous interior designer and the host of a successful reality show. He has great taste and uses his money to ensure that he’s surrounded by beautiful things. One of those “things” is Dennis (Jon Paul Phillips), Farleigh’s handsome, much-younger boyfriend – who lives the high-life thanks to his youth and good looks. There’s just one problem: no one stays young forever. Jonas (Eric Klotzsch) invites his best friend, Phillip (George Taylor), to come along with him on a trip through Berlin for the summer. The fact that Phillip is gay has never been an issue for either of them. However, when they pick up a hitchhiker named Boris (Michal Grabowski), who shows Jonas some interesting spots and starts to make moves on Phillip, the friendship between the two besties starts to fray. Maybe three is a crowd after all? By the end of the summer, things between Jonas and Phillip will never be the same again.
Orpheus Song
Enis and Philipp (Julien Lickert and Sascha Weingarten), two hot dudes from Berlin, become workout buddies. The two hunks fall into an intense friendship. When Philipp wins a trip to Greece, he invites Enis along. During a hike, they become lost and tempers flare, escalating to a violent scuffle. A mysterious young man named Hercules (Henry Morales), happens upon them and leads them to a magical underground cave. During the night, fueled by forbidden fruit Hercules has warned them against eating, passion ignites between Enis and Philipp. The next day, nothing between the two will ever be the same. This wildly erotic variation on Greek mythology will quickly have you falling under its sensual spell!
A Stormy Night
Marcos (David Moragas) arrives in New York from Barcelona only to find out his layover flight to San Francisco has been cancelled due to a storm. This leaves him without a place to stay for the night. That’s how he meets Alan (Jacob Perkins), his old college friend’s roommate, who is happy to host him for the night. The two boys have nothing in common, but they will have to spend twelve hours and a New York storm together. Throughout the night, a series of misunderstandings lead the boys to challenge each other’s approach to love, relationships and happiness. They both have secrets to hide that are difficult to hold. And yet, the biggest challenge might be having to say goodbye to each other the morning after.

Gypsy 83
Two goth misfits living in Sandusky, Ohio – musician Gypsy Vale (Sara Rue) and her younger queer protégé Clive Webb (Kett Turton) – decide to run away together to New York City so Gypsy can participate in an epic Stevie Nicks-cosplay event called “Night of 1,000 Stevies.” Along the way, they encounter other misfits that pave the way to their salvation, including washed-up singer Bambi LeBleau (played by the late, great Karen Black) and a confused Amish runaway (Anson Scoville). An indie hit when it was first released in 2001, Gypsy 83 is a touching queer coming-of-age flick from writer-director Todd Stephens (the filmmaker behind Another Gay Movie, Edge of Seventeen and the upcoming Swan Song). The film was recently remastered by the cult film label Altered Innocence.

Cousins Lucas (Paulo Sousa) lives with his religious Aunt Lourdes (Juliana Zancanaro) in a quiet, remote country town in Brazil. His life, however, is about to change drastically. When pious Aunt Lourdes leaves for a religious retreat, Lucas and Mario become friends… and much, much more. Cousinsis writer-director team Mauro Carvalho and Thiago Cazado’s second feature film following their debut romance About Us.
Socrates
When his mother dies, fifteen-year-old Socrates (Christian Malheiros) quickly finds his already tenuous life in the favelas of São Paulo pushed to the brink. Guided by an often-explosive temper, the volatile youth is desperate to find a job in order to keep the rent paid and to stay off the streets. When he crosses paths with the mysterious Maicon (Tales Ordakji), whose sketchy offer of quick cash takes Socrates to a wholly unexpected place, the young orphan must decide where his life is headed, what kind of person he is and who he will become. All the while, he’s desperately searching for his mother’s remains in order to say goodbye one last time. An astonishing film from writer-director Alexandre Moratto, Socrates won the coveted Someone to Watch Award at the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Heartstone
In a remote fishing village in Iceland, teens Thor and Christian (Baldur Einarsson and Blaer Hinriksson) experience a turbulent summer. As one of them tries to win the heart of a girl, the other discovers that he is harboring romantic feelings for his best friend. When summer ends and the harsh nature of Iceland takes back its rights, it’s time to leave the playground and face adulthood for the first time. A gorgeous, emotional coming-of-age film, Heartstone won over critics all over the world. The Playlist said it’s “beautifully shot, touchingly performed and delivered with a thrillingly atmospheric sense of place.” And Screen International said it’s “affecting as well as perceptive in how it intimately depicts the blossoming of youth… just the right amount of confidence, compassion and clear-eyed style.”

We Are Thr3e
Nacho (Carlos Etchevers) is an accountant, a seemingly average guy. At a party he meets Ana (Flor Dragonetti), an attractive and self-confident, recently divorced young woman. As the pair are getting to know one another, they also meet an exceedingly charismatic bartender named Sebastian (Juan Manuel Martino), who starts flirting with both of them. Despite their doubts, Nacho and Ana accept Sebastian’s invitation to spend the night at his place. Initially, nothing happens (nothing sexual or overtly romantic, at least). A few days later, they decide to go on a weekend trip to a secluded farm. There, it seems like things will evolve – possibly leading to a a fun and fleeting one-night stand… until Sebastian confesses that he desires a long-term relationship with a man and a woman together. Featuring casual, committed, naturalistic performances, this unique indie film from Argentinian writer-director Marcelo Briem Stamm takes a sexy and provocative look at a modern three-person courtship.
Everlasting Love
Each day after work, Carlos (Joan Bentallé), a language school teacher, frequents the heady surroundings of his local cruising ground. One evening he encounters a teenage boy from his class named Toni (Aimar Vega), and the two engage in a brief sexual tryst. As the relationship between teacher and student begins to develop, some dark truths emerge about the young man and his mysterious group of friends. Much like Alain Guiraudie‘s Stranger by the Lake, Maral Fores‘ follow-up to his acclaimed debut Animals continues to explore the perils of illicit sexual encounters, but with an edge of youthful impudence. Characterized by meticulous long shots, Fores’ disturbing mystery has a languid visual approach often at odds with the thrills on screen, which are guaranteed to shock and excite in equal measure.
Available Light Available Light is a sexy, funny and even sometimes disturbing experimental feature film by prolific writer/director/actor/artist Todd Verow – the same guy behind Frisk, Anonymous, Vacationlandand Bad Boy Street. The film follows numerous unconnected people in different cities as they try to escape their loneliness through love, lust or some combination of both. The film was shot in real locations using only available light (hence the title). The viewer is both a voyeur, watching the characters in intimate situations that are not meant to be seen, and an active participant, imagining what the characters are going through and making connections between them that may or may not be real. And, as anyone who is familiar with Verow’s previous work could probably guess, there is plenty of hot male flesh on display.
