There’s something for everyone in the new British anthology series Patterns. Like a cross between Sex Education and Black Mirror, each episode tells a full self-contained story, but they all take place in the same universe. A minor character in one episode may reappear as the lead in another and vice-versa.
In Reverse Catfish, a hot young rugby player who finds that people only date him for his good looks and sets about trying to change their perception. SuperBen follows an imaginative boy who gets up close and personal with his superhero crush. Delivered is about a hungry young man on an oppressive diet who becomes unusually obsessed with his pizza delivery guy. And there are many more episodes where those came from.
Smart, sexy and deeply funny, this series touches on a range of topical issues, including LGBTQ matters, family problems, conspiracy theories and reality television. Moreover, each of the eight episodes draws from a different comedic style, such as pantomime, sitcom and slapstick.

Sydney drag icon and “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Down Under” alum Maxi Shield stars in this wild, sexually-charged new queer comedy which pays loving homage to the early films of John Waters.
Wealthy socialite Kiki (Jessica Marchi) confides in her best friend Maxine (Shield) that she believes her smoking-hot, ex-gigolo husband (singer and underwear model Manuel Kornisiuk) may be cheating. In danger of losing her rather large fortune, Kiki elicits Maxi’s help to uncover the truth about her husband’s adultery.
The ladies soon learn, however, that not all is as it seems. Throw in a sexy gay porn star (Jack Stratton-Smith) and non-stop lashings of camp and you are in for one of the funniest, filthiest and joyously stupid rides of your life.
From first-time director James Demitri, this transgressive new comedy has all the makings of a campy LGBTQ+ classic. DNA Magazine said “The Winner Takes It All is MAXI-mum fun!” The Queer Review called it “A deliberately, deliciously trashy comedy caper… gonzo, low-fi, colorful and incredibly stupid.”

The newest edition of Altered Innocence‘s collection of short films is finally here with nearly four hours of LGBTQ and coming-of-age short films in two separately curated programs!
The Altered program is a wild blast of strange and transgressive visions with films about virtual love dolls on a revenge tear, twinks eager to be annihilated and a lesbian director obsessed with big boobs. The Innocence program is a more tender and subtle compilation of loveliness with tales about brotherly love, modern transgender life, intergenerational relationships and boys testing the limits of traditional masculinity.
Gene Burkard, a once-closeted Midwesterner and GI, found freedom in San Diego, where he transformed men’s fashion into something cosmopolitan, carefree and trend-setting. “International Male” reached gay and straight customers alike as it redefined images of masculinity in American culture, generating revenue and circulation in the millions.
Featuring input from Matt Bomer, Carson Kressley, Jake Shears and more, this character-driven documentary crafts a portrait of a band of outsiders who changed the way men would look – at themselves and at each other – and how the world would look at them. This is their story – a modern day fairy tale about a dream that really did come true.
Easy Tiger is a beautifully intimate portrait of an emotionally exposed man and the profound impact a surprising homoerotic attraction has on the course of his life.
An unexpected moment in a session with a client forces a psychologist to confront his own inner desires. Alienated by the isolation of his seemingly perfect city life, the powerful same-sex attraction compels him to look at the hidden parts of his true psyche, figuring it is the only way that he can find out who he really is.
Director Karel Tuytschaever explores how film can be used to focus on physicality – ensuring that same audiovisual work can provide, as much as possible, the same experience for both hearing and non/partially-hearing viewers. Queerty called the finished product “a radical feature.” Edge Media Network called it “a unique, surreal, enigmatic experience.”

From transgressive queer auteur Joao Pedro Rodriguez (O Fantasma, The Ornithologist), the new musical fantasia Will-O’-the-Wisp begins in the year 2069. On his deathbed, Portugal’s King Alfredo recalls the social activism and erotic exploits of his youth in the early years of the 21st century.
As a fresh-faced, curly-haired young prince (Mauro Costa), he shocked his wealthy family by becoming a volunteer fireman – both to do his part for the community and to be surrounded by a bevy of beefy firefighters. When he meets Alfonso (Andre Cabral), his instructor, new possibilities open as the pair become deeply immersed in love, desire and a will to change the status quo.
This sexually-frank new film – a mix of historical tableau, musical comedy, queer romance and post-colonial provocation – maintains a joyous energy while examining heavy themes.
An infectiously fun and totally queer Aussie TV series from Lee Galea (the director of Monster Pies), Single, Out follows the romantic adventures of cute-as-a-button twink Adam (Will Hutchins), a teen exploring his love life and new gay world along with his semi-helpful family and friends.
In this six-episode series, Adam starts falling for his straight brother’s hot friend, heads out to a gay bar for the first time, learns how to flirt, has his first date, starts pushing queer themes in his art work and much, much more.

Produced by Grindr – yes, THAT Grindr – as part of its ongoing efforts to spotlight queer talent and enhance content and community, the irreverent and fast-paced comedy Bridesman is now available in a new feature-length Director’s Cut.
Jimmy Fowlie stars as a ridiculously self-centered single gay man who returns to his hometown to be in his childhood best friend’s wedding party. The lone man-of-honor among the bridesmaids, he spends the majority of his time undermining the whole affair.
Hoping to save his bestie from what he considers an unbearably boring life of marriage and monogamy, he tries stealing away her husband-to-be before the couple can recite their vows. Shannon DeVido and Sydnee Washington co-star in this wickedly funny dark comedy which features sharp commentary on gay dating, heteronormative standards and even Grindr itself.

Horseplay, the new feature from prolific filmmaker Marco Berger, takes place during a scorching Argentine summer, following a group of testosterone-charged male friends who get together at a luxury villa to enjoy a little vacation. They’re soon drinking, partying hard, making videos together… and testing one another’s boundaries.
A rare mix of homophobia and horseplay come together to create a wildly homoerotic atmosphere. Under the surface, jealousy and violence begin to emerge. A twisted triangle of friends – a repressed gay man, a secret bisexual boy and a homophobe – will push tensions to the limit.
As with much of Berger’s work – he previously helmed films liked The Blonde One, Young Hunter, Taekwondo and Absent – Horseplay expertly amplifies the homoerotic undercurrents of frat-style male friendships, exploring his characters’ toned physiques as much as their inner thoughts. While the surface of the film offers a wealth of hunky eye-candy, it also doubles as an intelligent, challenging and sometimes shocking critique of sexual misconduct and toxic masculinity.
