From co-directors Richard Knight, Jr. and Peter Neville, Scrooge & Marley is a modern-day variation on Charles Dickens’ classic holiday story A Christmas Carol.

On Christmas Eve, Ben Scrooge (David Pevsner), the man who hates the holidays, is given the chance to begin again when he is visited by three spirits – the Ghosts of Christmas Past (Ronnie Kroell), Present (Megan Cavanagh) and Future (Jojo Baby). Revisiting the tragic missteps of his life enables Scrooge to rediscover the joy of the holiday season and make a journey back to love.

Interpreted with a gay sensibility – while adding a ton of heart, comedy and music – the magic of Dickens’ timeless tale comes alive in Scrooge & Marley. The film adds a fresh perspective on a well-known story that will appeal to audiences of all persuasions. Originally released in 2012, the film is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Dark Star Pictures is releasing a newly restored version.
