Watch the trailer for the queer indie horror flick Night at the Eagle Inn
Night at the Eagle Inn follows fraternal twins Spencer and Sarah Moss (Taylor Turner and Amelia Dudley). The pair embark on a pilgrimage to a remote Vermont inn to investigate the last known whereabouts of their father… who mysteriously disappeared the night they were born.
Once checked in, the uncanny innkeeper (Greg Schweers) and the attractive groundskeeper (Beau Minniear), who proves to be seductive for both twins, guide them through the institution’s tragic and terrifying history.
Not ones to leave any stone unturned, Spencer and Sarah go rogue and dive even deeper. Their exploration leads to shocking revelations as the property’s dark secrets ensnare them in a hellish labyrinth they must escape before dawn.
Equal parts The Innkeepers, The Shining and Vacancy, Night at the Eagle Inn is a fast-paced, queer-friendly horror-mystery laden with intrigue, black comedy and plenty of scares. Writer-director Erik Bloomquist is a former Top 200 Director on HBO’s Project Greenlight. The film won a Special Jury Prize at Popcorn Frights, Best Actress at ReadingFilmFEST, Best Sound Design at Sin City Horror Fest and Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Score at Terror in the Bay Film Festival.
