Taekwondo
In a beautiful country house in a chic suburb of Buenos Aires, Fernando (Lucas Papa) and his buddies are having a “boys only” weekend. Disconnected from the outside world, they bask in the sun, play in the pool, smoke pot and drink – naked or half-naked pretty much the entire time. Fernando decides to invite a newcomer, Germán (Gabriel Epstein), a close friend from his taekwondo class. Germán is quickly welcomed into the group. Fernando doesn’t realize, though, that Germán is attracted to men. Little by little, the two dudes get more intimate and the simmering sexual tension hits a boiling point. Assembling one of the hottest casts in gay movie history, prolific director Marco Berger has outdone himself with Taekwondo.

In En Retour, Jean-Marc meets Simon, a younger man, for dinner. After a promising start, the evening plunges into extreme drama. Ruptures follows Gabriel and Andre, ex-boyfriends who cross paths for the first time in ten years. Finally, in Electric July, Thomas and Victor visit an abandoned bridge and face their most secret fears and desires.
Paper Boys
After making an impulsive decision to change the course of his life, Cole (Kyle Cabral) moves to San Francisco, using his straight best friend’s engagement party as an excuse to escape a dead-end career and the memories of a passionate summer fling with a boy from New York. But when he arrives, he runs into that very former fling… and old feelings soon begin to resurface. After his friend, Daren (Nathan Brown), reveals that his recent engagement only happened by accident, Cole decides to use the mysterious powers of a re-discovered sketchbook to try to put all of their lives back on track. A short six-episode series, Paper Boys is a charming and thoughtful romance that is sure to leave you swooning.

Tim (Antoine-Olivier Pilon) is a shy sixteen-year-old student, dealing with the loss of his mother as well as his sexuality. The last four years of high school have been tough on him because of school bully Jeff (Lou-Pascal Tremblay). In his last year of school, Tim decides that wants to shine for once. He decides to stand up to Jeff by dethroning him in the 800m championship, the event Jeff is known for in school. But behind the competition and rivalry, a secret is wreaking havoc. After a personal video is shared on social media, Tim’s private life is about to explode into the public eye. Soon Tim finds himself pushed to the edge because of the pressure he endures, the edge where human limits reach the point of no return.
Sacrifice
The new 18-minute short film Sacrifice follows two protagonists as they enter a new phase in their relationship. James (Leigh Smith), a humanitarian rights lawyer, and Blake (Jesse Everett), a military officer, are continually torn apart by their overwhelming sense of duty – and their struggle to lead a “normal and quiet life.” They love each other, but their sense of duty is equally as important, especially due to Blake’s military background. Sacrifice aims to show that love is the greatest sacrifice of all, regardless of race, gender and everything in between. The film also pays tribute to those in the military history of Australia who were unrecognized in their service due to their sexuality.
