Love Blooms
Martin (Paul Delbreil), an aspiring young filmmaker, arrives in Paris in a desperate attempt to reunite with his first love, Lea (Adele Csech). Though lively, cultured and curious, Lea is not very happy. Although she doesn’t quite know what her future is going to look like, she’s pretty sure that it won’t include Martin as a romantic partner. Reluctantly, Martin begins to accept the fact that their relationship is truly over. Now he must find a way to rebuild his life from scratch. He’s just starting to do that when, much to his surprise, he ends up falling head-over-heels in love… with another man. Sexy, romantic, funny and poignant, Love Blooms takes a sensitive look at sexual discovery, young love and trying to find yourself, while struggling to become a mature adult.

New forms of sex and love emerge in Open, the first American film to ever win the Teddy Jury Prize at the Berlin Film Festival. When the young Cynthia (Gaea Gaddy) meets Gen (Tempest Crane) and Jay (Jendeen Forberg), a couple recovering from plastic surgery, she learns of pandrogony, in which two people merge their facial features in order to reflect their evolution from separate identities into one unified entity. Inspired by this, Cynthia abandons her husband and suburban life to embark on a road trip with Gen. Simultaneously, a young transman, Syd (Morty Diamond), meets a young punk man, Nick (Daniel Luedtke). After having sex with one another, they find themselves falling into love, a love that forces them to confront how hormone treatments have forever changed sex and relationships. Open brings together a cast of real intersex, pandrogynous, and transpeople to create a revealing look at the pioneers of the new human experience, and the emerging possibilities for humanity at the dawn of a new millennium.
Buffering
Seb and Aaron (Alex Anthony and Conner McKenzy) are sick of trying so hard to make ends meet… so they decide to get creative and take matters into their own hands by turning their bedroom into a porn studio and selling their wares online to sex-hungry consumers. As their performances become ever more popular, the physical, emotional and industry demands start to take a toll on their relationship – and it doesn’t help that the barely-clothed boy-next-door keeps causing a serious distraction! A deliciously light-hearted take on the consequences of unexpected sexual escapades, Buffering is a fabulously quirky British comedy.
Satan’s Angel: Queen of the Fire Tassels

Utopians
Get ready for a sexually explicit, highly erotic new drama from Scud, the acclaimed Hong Kong filmmaker behind Amphetamine, Permanent Residence, City Without Baseball, Love Actually… Sucks, Voyage and Adonis. Straight college boy Hins (Adonis He), a dreamer who thirsts for literature and philosophy, is overwhelmed by an attraction to his charismatic teacher, Antonio (Jackie Chow) – who drags Hins and his religious girlfriend Joy (Fiona Wang) into uncharted erotic territories. If you’ve never seen one of Scud‘s movies before, there are pretty much two things he always guarantees: hot man-on-man action that pushes boundaries and a whole lot of male nudity. Utopians has both in spades! If the gorgeous seaside setting doesn’t make you want to dive inside the screen and go swimming, the sweaty bodies and jaw-dropping sex scenes probably will. Enjoy!
